The Flin Flon Bombers dropped their lone game of the week 3-2 to the Melfort Mustangs and are now 1-3 in the season series against Melfort.
Flin Flon opened the scoring with a power play marker from Carter Anderson just 5 minutes into the middle frame. Another second period collapse would see the Bombers give up 3 goals in a span of a minute and 17 seconds. Ryder Ringor’s 6th goal of the season would cut the deficit to just one with less than 5 minutes remaining in regulation but Mustangs goaltender Kristian Coombs would shut the door to prevent any sort of Bombers comeback.
With the loss the Bombers dropped their record to 6-9-0-1 and will return to action on Friday, November 8th against the Mustangs at the Whitne
