The Flin Flon Bombers and Yorkton Terriers squared off on Tuesday night at the Whitney Forum with the Terriers defeating the Bombers for the second time this season. Terriers rookie goaltender Callum Creig was sensational stopping 50 shots for his second shutout of the season. Creig improved his record to 5-0 and has a league leading 1.11 GAA & .962 SV%. Kenneth Marquart made 18 saves in the loss.

The Bombers welcomed the Humboldt Broncos to the Whitney Forum for a pair of games this weekend and were able to get the split. Despite getting off to a 2-0 lead on Friday night, the Bombers would surrender the next four goals to drop their fifth game in a row. The team then managed to snap the losing streak with a 2-1 win over the Broncos. Nathan Schaefer potted his first career SJHL goal while Reid Arberry’s first of the season 1:32 into the third period stood up as the game winner. Kenneth Marquart made 39 saves for his second win of the season.

The Bombers will now get set for a contest with one of their Sherwood Division rivals, the Melfort Mustangs on Wednesday night.
