The Flin Flon Bombers were able to come away with a weekend split against the SJHL leading Melfort Mustangs. On Friday night the  Bombers dropped an ugly 5-0 loss but were able to rebound the following night with a thrilling 2-1 shootout win. Bombers Goaltender Matthew Kieper started both games and made 19 saves including 3 in the shootout for his 21st win of the season. Bombers Forward Koen Senft tied the game late in the 3rd period with his 13th of the season and Bombers forward Carter Cormier was the lone goal scorer in the shootout.

The Bombers continue to sit in 2nd place in the overall SJHL standings with 5 regular season games remaining.

March 7th & 8th against the Battlefords North Stars in Flin Flon. March 11th and March 14th in Nipawin and La Ronge and then they will wrap up the 2024-2025 regular season at home against the La Ronge Ice Wolves.
