The Flin Flon Bombers returned to action on Saturday night in a big way coming home with a 10-4 win in La Ronge. Leighton Carruthers had himself a night putting up 6 points. The line of Carruthers, Keefe Gruener and Carter Cormier combined for 13 points. Luke Lepper, Nathan Schaefer and Ryder Ringor also had 3-point games.
The Bombers 4 game winning streak would then get snapped with a 5-4 shootout loss to La Ronge. Despite the loss, the Bombers extended their undefeated in regulation streak to 16 games. La Ronge got out to a commanding 4-1 lead until the Bombers stormed back to force the game to a shootout. Lepper, Gruener, Ringor and Anthony Piccininno scored in the loss.
The Bombers now sit tied for 2nd place in the overall standings with the Yorkton Terriers with 43 points apiece.
