The Flin Flon Bombers get set for just one game this week against the La Ronge Ice Wolves on Friday night in Flin Flon.
Both teams currently boast a 1-1 record heading into the matchup. La Ronge opened the 2022-2023 season with a 7-4 win on home ice against the Nipawin Hawks before falling in Melfort 5-1. The Bombers defeated Melfort 2-0 and then fell short in a 5-2 defeat in Nipawin.
Ice Wolves forwards Ethan Strik, Kale Taylor, Tye Evans and Ryley Morgan currently lead La Ronge in scoring with 3 points in 2 games. Meanwhile, Bombers forward Cole Duperreault has scored all 4 Bomber goals this season.
After the contest the Bombers will then travel to Warman, Saskatchewan for the annual SJHL Showcase, which begins on Sunday night.
