The Flin Flon Bombers will return to action on Tuesday, January 3rd in La Ronge. After Tuesday night’s contest, the Bombers will be hosting the Humboldt Broncos in a pair of games on Friday, January 6th and Saturday, January 7th.
The Bombers and Ice Wolves squared off in a pair of games just before Christmas break with the Bombers winning both games 5-1 and 3-2 in a shootout. La Ronge is currently in 2nd place overall with a 2 point lead over the Bombers. However the Bombers do have 4 games in hand.
The Broncos are just 2 points back of the Bombers with both teams playing 30 games each. Humboldt was able to get 2 points in the Whitney Forum back in October with a 2-1 overtime win over the Bombers. Flin Flon would respond less than 2 months later with a 4-1 win at the Elgar Petersen Arena.
The Bombers are currently riding a 3 game winning streak and are 6-3-1-0 in their previous 10 games.
