Flin Flon Bombers Week Preview: Powered By Elite Communications

The Flin Flon Bombers get set to hit the road again for a pair of games against the Melville Millionaires and Yorkton Terriers to kick off December.

The Millionaires have earned points in their last three games and are currently sitting in 10th place in the overall standings. Despite sitting in 10th, Melville is just three points outside of a playoff spot. The Bombers and Millionaires have squared off four times already this season with the Bombers winning every contest. However three of those games were decided by two goals or less. Forwards Noah Wills and Zach Cain are two of the top offensive players in the SJHL. Wills and Cain are currently 5th and 6th in SJHL scoring with 33 and 31 points in 25 games. Former Bomber Ethan Anstey was traded to Melville less than three weeks ago.

On Saturday night the Bombers will face off against the Yorkton Terriers. The Terriers are currently the only club to defeat the Bombers in regulation this season at the Whitney Forum. Yorkton is also sitting outside of a playoff spot right now but they’re right in the mix as they trail the 8th place Nipawin Hawks by just two points. Forward Dylan Ruptash currently leads all SJHL rookies in goals with ten.

The Bombers currently sit in 2nd place overall with a 16-6-2-1 record.
