The Flin Flon Bombers continue their five game homestand this week beginning with a Tuesday night showdown with the SJHL leading Yorkton Terriers (8-3-0-0). The Bombers will look to snap their three game losing streak after losing both games at home last weekend to Weyburn. The Terriers are coming off of a weekend split with the Melville Millionaires. Yorkton is an offensive juggernaut and are averaging nearly five goals per game and also have a league high 92.5% penalty kill. Terriers captain Jaron Desnoyers is second in SJHL scoring with 18 points in 11 games. The Bombers and Terriers faced off a the beginning of this month with the Terriers winning 4-1.

The week will conclude with a pair of home games against the Humboldt Broncos (6-3-1-0). Despite a slow start at the beginning of the season, the Broncos have won two in a row and are also a team that knows how to score goals (SJHL high 4.70 per game). The Broncos 27.9% powerplay is ranked second among all SJHL clubs. SJHL veteran Tre Fouquette is tied for the SJHL defencemen scoring lead with 11 points in 10 games.

Despite sitting in eighth place in the overall standings, the Bombers sit just five points behind the first place Yorkton Terriers.
