This is your Flin Flon Bombers Week Preview Powered by Elite Communications.
After completing the month of November with a perfect 7-0-0-0 record, the Bombers will put their winning streak on the line when the Melville Millionaires visit the Whitney Forum this weekend.
Despite being under .500 in their previous 10 games, the Millionaires have turned things around and are now 3-0-1-0 in their last 4. Melville had an extremely difficult schedule in November, playing just 3 home games and 7 on the road. They currently sit on top of the Viterra Division standings with a 13-8-2-1 record. The Bombers trail the Millionaires in the overall SJHL standings by just 2 points.
Millionaires forward Caden Drury has been leading the SJHL in scoring since day 1 and has put up an impressive 36 points in just 24 games and is on pace for 84 points this season. Rookie forward Raiden Zacharias’s 1.17 points-per-game is an SJHL high for first year players in the league.
The Bombers could potentially be without forward Koen Senft and defenceman Luke Lepper as the two have left for Team Canada West tryouts, which begins on Tuesday in Calgary.
