This week, the Bombers play only two games before the SJHL takes their winter break. The Bombers faceoff against the La Ronge Ice Wolves (9-18-2-1) in a weekend series that starts on Friday. This will be the fourth time the Bombers play the Ice Wolves this season. The Bombers were successful in the past 3 matches, winning all of them, but the last game they played was a tight one, where the Bombers only won 1-0. The Ice Wolves are currently last in the Sherwood Division and 10th overall in the SJHL with 21 points. Even though a lower ranked team, La Ronge is very physical and has given the Bombers some tough games throughout the past few years. Especially after their last matchup with each other, the Bombers knows the Ice Wolves can put up a fight and will be expecting them to do same this weekend. Puck Drop on Friday is 7:30 PM ST at the Mel Hegland Uniplex in La Ronge. Puck Drop for Saturday is 7:30 PM at the Whitney Forum. Both games will be broadcasted on FloHockey and on 102.9 CFAR.
