Bombers Add ’06 Ohio Forward , John DelVerne, from Victory Honda

The Flin Flon Bombers are excited to announce the signing of ’06 Forward, John DelVerne, from Victory Honda AAA Hockey in Michigan.

DelVerne is a Sylvania, Ohio product who played in 81 games for Victory Honda last season, notching an impressive 24 goals and 47 assists for 71 points. DelVerne also helped his team to a State Championship, along with getting them to #1 ranked in the country with a record of 53-20-1. Following the State Championship, Victory Honda went on to the National Championship tournament, where they made it all the way to the Semi-finals before losing 1-0 to the Phoenix Jr. Coyotes. During the National Championship, DelVerne tallied 1 goal in 3 games. Prior to playing with Victory Honda, DelVerne played for Compuware 16U AAA during the 2022/23 season. While with Compuware, he played in 15 regular season games, grabbing 9 goals and 11 assists for 20 points. DelVerne also went on to play in the National Championship tournament with Compuware, where he got 3 goals and 1 assist in four games. The 5’10, left shooting, DelVerne, should bring lots offense to the Bombers forward group this year with his great skating ability, high IQ and impressive shot.
