The Flin Flon Bombers were able to win their lone game of the week defeating the Yorkton Terriers 2-0 at the Whitney Forum on Friday night.
Goaltender Cal Schell made 42 saves for his SJHL leading 3rd shutout of the season. Quebec products, Jeremi Tremblay and Xavier Lapointe were the goal scorers for the Bombers. Tremblay now sits 2nd in goals among SJHL rookies with 8.
The Bombers finished the month of October with a 11-3 record and currently tied for 1st overall in the SJHL with the Humboldt Broncos. The Broncos have a game in hand.
