The Flin Flon Bombers host a couple of home games this weekend against the Melfort Mustangs and Notre Dame Hounds.

The Bombers are currently 1-2-0-0 against the Mustangs this season. The two teams played last week in Melfort with the Mustangs winning 7-3. Flin Flon is 1 point up on the Mustangs for the top spot in the Sherwood Division.

Flin Flon and Notre Dame squared off back on October, 22nd, with the Hounds winning 4-2. The Hounds currently have a record of 8-5-1-1 and are 6-2-1-1 in their last 10 games. They haven’t lost in regulation in their last 5 games. Notre Dame is led up front by forward Kevin Anderson (Princeton Commit) who currently sits 4th in SJHL scoring with 23 points (4g, 19a) in just 15 games. Rookie goaltender and Saskatoon Blades prospect Austin Elliott is an early candidate for SJHL Rookie of the Year. Elliott has a record of 7-0-0-1 along with a 2.18 GAA & .931 SV%

Bombers forward Jaeden Mercier is still out with an injury while forward Matt Raymond will make his season debut this weekend.
