The Flin Flon Bombers get set for a pair of home games this week against the Nipawin Hawks on Wednesday and Notre Dame Hounds on Saturday.
The Hawks were able to steal 2 points in the Whitney Forum last week and the Bombers will look to erase their current 4 game losing streak. Nipawin is the only club to beat the Bombers twice this season at the Whitney Forum.
The contest against the Hounds will wrap up the season series between the 2 clubs with the Hounds leading the series 2-1. The two teams faced each other earlier this month in Wilcox, with the Hounds winning 4-3 in overtime. Notre Dame is currently in 9th place in the SJHL but have the league’s 8th best winning percentage at .490%.
The Bombers are currently sitting in 3rd place overall and 1st place in the Sherwood Division with just 8 games remaining in the regular season.
