After losing six forwards from last seasons roster due to graduation, the Bombers continue to bolster the forward group heading into next season.
The Bombers are excited to announce the signing of 2005 born forward Maverick Deslisle from the QCHL’s Champlain St. Lawrence Lions.
Deslisle is a 6’0, right-handed shot center-man that has suited up for the Champlain St. Lawrence Lions for the last three seasons. During the 2024-2025 season, Maverick put up 13 goals and 33 assists in 29 regular season games. Deslisle had a monster post-season for the Lions producing 20 points in just 10 playoff games, helping the Lions win the QCHL Championship.
“An area we really wanted to address this off-season was adding forwards that are comfortable playing down the middle. Obviously losing center-men like Ryder Ringor, Keefe Gruener and Kylynn Olafson, we expect Maverick to step in and fill one of those holes. Maverick had a great regular season but we really like the fact that he was able to elevate his game during the playoffs, which is exactly the type of players we want.” – Bombers Assistant Coach & Assistant GM, Cole McCaig
The Bombers would like to welcome Maverick and his family to the organization.
