Bombers Sign Forward Zach Vockler

The Flin Flon Bombers are excited to announce the signing of 2004 born forward Zach Vockler.

The Sioux Falls, South Dakota native spent the 2021-22 season with the Badlands Sabres of the NA3HL and finished with 51 points (22g, 29a) in 44 games. Zach also competed in the 2022 NA3HL’s Top Prospects Tournament and is the brother of Bombers forward, Jacob Vockler.

“Zach has a great combination of grit and skill. He had a very impressive showing at our spring camp in May and we’re excited to see what he can do at the Junior A level. Zach had a great season with the Badlands Sabres in the same league Gabriel Shipper came from. With his brother Jacob being in Flin Flon, Zach understands our expectations and is obviously very familiar with our program.” Bombers Assistant Coach & Assistant General Manager, Cole McCaig

Zach was coached by former Bombers goaltender Brandon Wildung during the 2019-20 season with the Sioux Falls Power 16U AAA program.

The Bombers would like to welcome Zach to the Bombers organization.
