The Flin Flon Bombers are pleased to announce 2003-born forward Matt Egan has signed with the organization.

“Matt is a smart player with an extremely high work ethic and compete level. He loves to engage in the physical side of the game and has developed his offensive skillset, along with his skating, very nicely to be effective all over the ice. He protects the puck well, wins puck battles and can play the game with excellent pace. He plays a heavy style of game; makes the opponent earn space. He will be difficult to play against night in and night out.” – Bombers Manitoba Scout, Mark Patton

The 6’2″, 190lbs. Left-winger is currently playing for TRC Hockey Academy and has 1 assist in 4 games in the NAPHL U18. Last season, the St. Adolphe, MB product played 46 games with the Eastman Selects U18 AAA and produced 18 goals and 29 assists.

“I’m extremely honoured and excited to have this opportunity to become a Flin Flon Bomber. I’ve heard nothing but great things about the teams history, fans, and organization overall. Flin Flon is going to be a great fit for me and I’m excited to become a Bomber.” – Matt Egan

“We are very happy to sign Matt. He’s been a player we have targeted for over a year now. He brings a high compete level and will play the right way at at both ends of the ice. We love his desire and feel he will be a tough player to play against.” – Bombers Head Coach & General Manager, Mike Reagan

The Bombers would like to welcome Matt and his family to the Flin Flon Bombers organization!
