Bombers Sign First-Round Pick Keaton Lesperance

The Flin Flon Bombers are excited to announce the signing of 2008 born forward Keaton Lesperance.

The Regina, Saskatchewan product suited up for the Moose Jaw Warriors of the SMAAAHL during the previous two seasons. This past year, Lesperance had a breakout season by putting up 34 points in just 25 games. Keaton also made his SJHL debut last season, playing in two games with the Bombers. During the Warriors deep playoff run which saw them reach the SMAAAHL final before falling to the eventual Telus Cup Champion Regina Pat Canadians, Keaton had 5 points in 13 games.

“KJ is a young and powerful kid. He’s willing to go to the dirty areas and he wins battles. He has the ability to make high end plays in small areas and he has a heavy shot. KJ takes pride in playing a 200 foot game and will be a young player that the team will rely on.” – Bombers Head Scout & Director of Player Personnel, Jon Klassen

Lesperance was the 5th pick in the 2023 SJHL U15 Draft and is also a prospect of the WHL’s Swift Current Broncos.

The Bombers would like to officially welcome Keaton and his family to the organization.
