After battling back from a 3-0 deficit in the series, the Flin Flon Bombers fell to the home town Battleford Stars in game 7 in the deciding game.

Daylan Marchi (Lethbridge, AB), was the lone Bomber goal scorer, while Gabriel Waked (St. Bruno De Montarville, PQ) stopped 31/35 shots he faced.

Rookies Matt Flodell (Saskatoon, Sk), and Alec Cokley (New Castle, CO, USA) would have the helpers on Flin Flon’s only goal of the evening.

Battleford flew out of the gate with three first period goals, and Flin Flon was unable to recover.

Flin Flon had a number of key injuries in this hard fought series, including Chrystopher Collin, Ethan Daniel, and Calvon Boots. None-the-less, the players whose numbers were called in their absence filled in admirably, and earned key playoff minutes in the process.

The Flin Flon Bombers Organization would like to thank the eight graduating players for their commitment to the City of Flin Flon, and their contribution to the organization both on and off the ice. We would like to wish them all the best in their futures, ONCE A BOMBER-ALWAYS A BOMBER
