The Flin Flon Bombers have made a pair of trades after adding Alex Von Sprecken (02) from the Estevan Bruins and Jacob Vockler returning to the team after beginning the season with the NAHL’s Aberdeen Wings.
With the addition of Von Sprecken, the Bombers had nine 20 year old’s, one over the league limit. The Bombers have sent forward Kaden Kohle (02) to the MJHL’s Portage Terriers in exchange for forward Rhys Raeside (03) and a player development fee. After spending the previous four seasons in the WHL with the Tri-City Americans and Vancouver Giants, Kohle suited up in 7 games for the Bombers and chipped in 1 assist and 18 penalty minutes.
Raeside has spent the last three seasons going back and forth from the WHL and MJHL. The Winnipeg, MB product has suited up with the Winnipeg Blues and Portage Terriers of the MJHL. Rhys has played in 21 career WHL games between the Winnipeg Ice and Lethbridge Hurricanes.
The Bombers have also traded forward Mason Hartley (04) to the MJHL’s Neepawa Titans in exchange for a player development fee. Hartley went pointless in 3 games with the Bombers this season.
With the roster moves, the Bombers currently have 15 forwards, 9 defencemen, and 2 goaltenders.
