Bombers Hire Devin Buffalo As Goalie Coach, Announce Additions To Scouting Staff

Flin Flon Bombers Head Coach & General Manager Mike Reagan announced Saturday that the organization has hired former Bomber Devin Buffalo as Goalie Coach.

“We are very excited to bring Devin back as our goalie coach. His experience playing at a high level and earning a Division I scholarship as a Bomber will greatly benefit our players and organization. Devin is very well respected and knows what it means to be a Bomber. Welcome back Buff!” – Bombers Head Coach & General Manager, Mike Reagan

Devin suited up for the Bombers from 2011-2014 and was named the SJHL’s Rookie of the Year at the conclusion of the 2011-12 season. During the 2012-13 season, Devin received a Division I scholarship to Dartmouth College where he spent 4 seasons. Buffalo was named to the NCAA All-Ivy League Second Team and was nominated for the Hobey Baker Award in 2018. Devin played 1 season of professional hockey in the ECHL during the 2018-19 season. Buffalo is currently the owner of Waniska Athletics

The Bombers are also pleased to announce the additions of Mitch Van Teeling and Travis Baber to the organization’s scouting staff.

Mitch currently resides in Windsor, Ontario and will be responsible for covering Southern Ontario. Van Teeling played 4 seasons with the Dauphin Kings of the MJHL where he was named team captain during his final year of junior hockey. Mitch then went on to play 3 seasons at York University (U-Sports)

Travis is based out of Regina, Saskatchewan and will assist Bombers Head Scout, Jon Klassen and Tyler Dancy cover Saskatchewan. Baber suited up with the Nipawin Hawks during the 2011-12 season.

Our staff met Travis at our summer camp in July and we can already tell he’s going to go above and beyond to help us find the next generation of talent.
