Bombers Forward Gabriel Shipper Commits to NCAA Division III Bowdin

The Flin Flon Bombers of the Saskatchewan Junior Hockey League (SJHL) are excited to announce that forward Gabriel Shipper (01) has committed to attend and play for the Bowdoin College Polar Bears (NCAA DIII).

Located in Brunswick, Maine, the Polar Bears are proud members of the NESCAC Conference. Bowdin is currently in 7th place in the conference with a 5-5-4 record. The Polar Bears were back-to-back NESCAC Conference champions in 2013 & 2014.

“My goal was always to play hockey and attend a school known for it’s rigorous education. Aside from being one of the best liberal arts schools in the country, I really felt a sense of belonging during my tour of Bowdoin. All aspects of the campus such as the athletic, academic, and housing facilities were incredible. I’m very excited for the opportunity and would like to thank everyone that has been a part of my journey.” – Bombers Forward, Gabriel Shipper

Shipper currently has 14 points (5g, 9a) in 32 games this season.
