Bombers Add Forward Ethan Mercer

The Flin Flon Bombers are excited to announce the addition of 2002′ born forward Ethan Mercer.

“Ethan is a big body that skates well, plays in the high traffic areas, has a high compete level and brings a championship pedigree. All things that we believe will make us deeper and a tougher team to play against. It’s a no brainer when you can add a player that has won a national championship.” – Bombers Head Coach & General Manager, Mike Reagan

After producing 31 points (17 G, 14 A) in 36 games with the CSSHL’s Northern Alberta X-Treme, Mercer began his junior career with the Vernon Vipers of the BCHL. In 16 games, Ethan chipped in with 2 assists.

At the beginning of the 2021-2022 season, Mercer was traded to the AJHL’s Brooks Bandits where he won a Centennial Cup national championship. In 34 games as a Bandit, Ethan produced 5 goals and 6 assists.

Mercer began this season with the AJHL’s Olds Grizzlys and was named an alternate captain. In 17 games with Olds, Ethan put up 3 goals and an assist.

The Flin Flon Bombers would like to welcome Ethan and his family to the organization.
