The Flin Flon Bombers are pleased to announce the signing of 2005 born defenceman Xavier Fauchon.
The product of Levis, Quebec has spent the previous three seasons with the QCHL’s Champlain St. Lawrence Lions, most recently as the team captain. During the 2024-2025 regular season the left-handed shot blueliner produced 44 points in 36 games. Fauchon would add another 14 points in 10 playoff games helping the Lions win the QCHL Championship.
“We’ve learned in the past that it can be very difficult to acquire experienced defencemen throughout the season so to add one in Jul definitely takes some pressure off of us. Xavier is a very talented defenceman with a high compete level. He’s not the biggest player by any means but he makes up for it with his grit. Anytime you can add a player who was the captain of his previous team you know you’re adding a winner.
