The Flin Flon Bombers have acquired 2002′ born defenceman Alex Von Sprecken and the SJHL list rights to 2004′ born forward Jeremy Fortin from the Estevan Bruins, the team announced today.
In exchange, the Bruins will receive the CJHL rights of 2003′ born defenceman Marek Schneider and a Player Development Fee.
Von Sprecken has appeared in 6 games this season with the Bruins while serving as an alternate captain, producing 2 goals and an assist along with 18 penalty minutes. In 103 career SJHL regular season games, all spent with the Bruins, Alex has 36 points (11G, 25A) and 280 penalty minutes.
In addition to his regular season experience, Von Sprecken also brings with him a championship pedigree after appearing in 14 post-season games and tallying 3 assists and 28 penalty minutes during the Bruins 2022 SJHL Championship run.

Fortin appeared in 4 games with Estevan this season and produced a goal and 6 penalty minutes.
Schneider, a Prince Albert, Saskatchewan product, is currently with the WHL’s Saskatoon Blades and appeared in 3 games with the Bombers from 2019 to 2020.
