The Bombers took on the visiting Yorkton Terriers on Tuesday night at the Whitney Forum in the first of two week day games this past week. A strong first period helped propel the Bombers to a 3-1 win over the Terriers. Joey Lies, Sam Ward and Reid Arberry all picked up goals in the Bombers win. Devin Peck stopped 21 of 22 pucks sent his way in net for the win.
The next night the Bombers travelled to Melfort to take on the Mustangs. The Bombers fought hard coming from behind to pick up a 2-1 win over their UPL division rivals. Maverick Deslisle and Landon Alexander found the back of the net for the Bombers while Devin Peck stopped 26 of 27 shots on route to his second win of the week.
The Bombers are at home again this weekend taking on the first place Humboldt Broncos. Puck drops at 7:30pm at the Whitney Forum on Friday November 14th and Saturday November 15th.
