2024 Flin Flon Bombers AGM

The Flin Flon Bombers held their Annual General Meeting last Thursday, June 13th at the Flin Flon Community Hall.

Travis Rideout, the Flin Flon Bombers President spoke first and thanked all the board, sponsors, city, billets and fans for their contributions this past season. Rideout also mentioned that the Bombers are looked upon as being one of the top three organizations in the league and they continue to strive to be better each season.

Mike Reagan, the Coach and GM also sent out thank you’s to all the hard working people and groups that support the team year after year.

Reagan also mentioned the disappointment of not winning the league this year but stands by the product that they have built and considers the Bombers to be one of the top programs in the country.

Reagan recently attended the SJHL AGM and the season will begin September the 20th with the Bombers hosting Nipawin. Flin Flon will travel to Melfort on Saturday the 21st for a rematch of the Finals for Melfort’s home opener.

The Bombers are excited for the next season with four defencemen returning including Cole Tanchuk returning for his fourth season. Luke Lepper, Pierce Yakimchuk and Connor Ryan all back with a year under their belts.

Flin Flon will also return four top 6 forwards in Carter Anderson, Koen Senft, Anthony Piccininno and Keefe Gruener.

Janice Slipp delivered the financial situation of the team and it was a very good year for the club.

The team netted an income of over $57,000.00 with their biggest sources of revenue including their 50/50’s, corporate advertising and season tickets.

The night concluded with election for board positions:

Jordy Dumenko was voted in as Vice President. Janice Slipp will return as Secretary/ Treasurer.

Connor Brading, Angie Simpson, Alison Cooper, Hollee Babcock and Rachel Wright were all elected to two year Board positions.
