The Flin Flon Bombers are happy to announce the signing of ’06 D-man, Daniel Helary, from Prairie Hockey Academy U18 of the CSSHL!
Helary is a Calgary, Alberta product that started playing for Prairie Hockey Academy U18 during the 2022/23 season, where he suited up in 32 games, grabbing 2 goals and 8 assists. Prior to that, Helary played for the Calgary Northstars AAA U16 team and was a standout player, notching 15 goals and 12 assists for 27 points in just 32 games. This past season with Prairie Hockey Academy, Helary was 2nd on his team in points for defenseman and 5th overall in points on his team with 22 (8 goals and 14 assists). Standing at a tall 6’4, Helary will add some big size to the Bombers back end, along with great IQ, passing and a solid shot.
The Bombers welcome Daniel and his family to Flin Flon and are excited to see him suit up this season!
