Due in part to his hot start, rookie Chrystopher Collin has been named to the Canada West selection camp.

Head Coach and General Manager Mike Reagan has left the club for his stint as Head Coach of Canada West at his year’s World Junior A Challenge.

60 invitees from the five western junior A leagues, will assemble in Calgary December 2-5 for four days of practices and games.  Of those 60, nine are from the SJHL with one coming from the Flin Flon Bombers.

Chrystopher Collin (Bois De Filion, QC) has had an impressive start to his stint with the Bombers, and for that he’s the lone representative to the Canada West camp.

Collin is tied for the team lead in points (23) and goals (14).  He leads all rookies in goals and is tied for second with Jared Hamm of the Notre Dame Hounds, four points back of the leader with three fewer games played.

After camp is completed, Reagan and his team will travel to the World Junior A Challenge held in Truro, NS December 10-16 with their tournament action starting on the 10th against the Czech Republic.
