Brett Harasymuk scored just :43 seconds into the game and Eric Bolden scored a pair before Josh Bly scored his third of the post season to put the Hawks at 4-0, chasing starter Zac Robidoux before the end of the first.

Teal Sobkowicz (Outlook, SK) scored the lone goal for the Bombers early into the first period, a shorthanded marker.

Robidoux made 12 saves on 16 shots; Brendan Newton made his first appearance of the round in relief, making 22 saves in just over two periods.
