1998 born F Brandon Lesko and D Cory Thomas are two of 11 SJHL players heading to Canada West's camp to play in the World Junior A Challenge.

Flin Flon Bomber Head Coach and General Manager Mike Reagan will head off soon for his duties with Canada West, this time as Assistant Coach, when the team breaks camp in Leduc, AB December 5 -  8.

A year removed from helping Canada West win gold as the team’s Video Coach, Reagan will have more responsibilities this time around when they defend their gold in the World Junior A Challenge held this year in Bonnyville, AB.

Last year, the team didn’t have a representative from the SJHL, when 8 players went for camp, but this time around 11 players from Saskatchewan will look for a spot on the roster including two members of the Flin Flon Bombers.

Defenseman Cory Thomas (St. Brieux, SK) and forward Brandon Lesko (Hafford, SK) will hit the ice when camp opens up next week, both firsts for each player.

1998 born Thomas has five points (1g, 4a) in 25 games so far for the Bombers this season, his second with the team.  He was the lone SJHL representative of the SJHL in last season’s CJHL Top Prospects Game.

1998 born Lesko, also in his second year with the club, has 19 points (11g, 8a) in 23 games this season, totaling 45 points (19g, 26a) in 80 games.
