Flin Flon entertains the Weyburn Red Wings tonight and the Estevan Bruins tomorrow, who are tied for the Viterra Division lead.

The Flin Flon Bombers return to action this weekend with a pair of games against two Viterra Division opponents starting tonight when they play host to the Weyburn Red Wings (Game Time: 7:30 PM).

This is the first time the Red Wings have been back since Mooseleg Gate, when the Bombers took a stranglehold and a 3-1 series lead against the Red Wings in their first round matchup last playoffs.

The Wings come into the Forum tied for first in the Viterra with 23 points and are fresh off a 5-4 shootout win in La Ronge on Thursday night.

These two clubs have faced off twice already in the young season with the Bombers looking for their first win against the Wings.  Weyburn took a 4-3 win at the SJHL Showcase in Warman and then shutout the Bombers 5-0 on Flin Flon’s last road swing.

On Saturday night the Viterra’s other leading team, the Estevan Bruins come to town (Game Time: 7:30 PM).

The Bruins will come to town after a meeting with Ice Wolves tonight, where they will look to continue their current three game winning streak of three games.

There has only been one meeting between Flin Flon and Estevan, which was also during the Bombers last road swing were the Bruins edged the Bombers 6-4.

After this weekend’s action, the Bombers will have a home and home series against the Melfort Mustangs midweek before taking a week off.
