Recently signed prospect Evan Katelnikoff.

Starting June 1, all SJHL teams are able to sign prospects to a standard card for the upcoming season.  In the next few weeks, bombers.ca will spotlight a few prospects that Head Coach and General Manager Mike Reagan has committed to for the 2016-17 season.

Evan Katelnikoff – Calgary, AB – Edge School

Standing 6’1, 185 pounds, Evan Katelnikoff brings a big, strong frame, along with an offensive upside.  The former Edge Pre School forward put up 32 points (15g, 17a) in 54 games last season split between the CSSHL and MPHL, playing against the top prep schools in North America.

A teammate of recently signed Connor Beebe, Katelnikoff added another 5 points (3g, 2a) in 7 playoff games.

“For a big kid, Evan skates very well,” added Head Coach and General Manager Mike Reagan.  “The other upside to him is that he’s a very responsible player, on both sides of the puck.”
