Flin Flon hosts the Melfort Mustangs in their lone weekend game with playoff implications.

With a playoff spot already clinched, the FLin Flon Bombers are now looking to see where they will start come March, and tomorrow’s game will have serious implications when they play host the Sherwood Division’s Melfort Mustangs (Game Time: 7:30 PM – Radio: 102.9 CFAR).

With just over three weeks, and eight games to go in the 2015-16 regular season, the Bombers (30-16-0-4) are finding themselves in a battle between two teams right now.

Duking it out with the Nipawin Hawks for fourth and fifth in the SJHL, which means home ice advantage in the opening round, the Bombers hold a three point lead but have played two more than the Hawks who play three this weekend on a tough southern swing.

In their lone game of this weekend, the Bombers will look to edge closer to first in the Sherwood Division, and the second seed overall when they face off against the Mustangs (32-13-3-2) who hold a five point lead over the Bombers.

Melfort comes in on a four game winning streak.

Flin Flon is looking to bounce back after a tumultuous road swing when they lost the lowly Yorkton Terriers on Tuesday, and had to pull out a shootout win against the Millionaires in Melville on Wednesday.

They still have won 7 of their last 10 games.

Tomorrow night is also highlighted by the 20 year career of Flin Flon Radio Broadcast ledged Rob Hart, who will broadcast his 1000 game.

This will be the only game for the Bombers for the week before they host the Notre Dame Hounds next Saturday night (February 20th).
