Bombers look to win their seventh in a row tonight in Wilcox, SK.

They will look to tie their longest winning streak of the season and the longest in the SJHL tonight when the Flin Flon Bombers (24-13-0-4) face off against the Notre Dame Hounds (20-16-2-3) tonight in Wilcox, SK.

Not only are the Bombers looks to extend their streak and move more points up on the Nipawin Hawks, but they’re trying to beat the Hounds for the first time this season.

No stranger to one another, these two teams went to seven games in their quarter final matchup these past playoffs, the Hounds have held the edge this season, winning all three games, the last coming all the way back on November 27th when the Hounds edged the Bombers 4-3 at the Whitney Forum.

Flin Flon is fresh off the 4-3 shootout win against the Hawks last night, the first of a four game in five night trip, which broke the tie in the Sherwood Division and SJHL playoff picture.

Notre Dame is fresh off a 3-0 shutout of the Estevan Bruins last night and have won six of their last 10 games.  They currently sit second in the Finning Division and seventh overall.

After tonight the Bombers will have tomorrow off before finishing up in Estevan on Friday and Weyburn on Saturday.
