Flin Flon entertains the Estevan Bruins in a rare Thursday night match up at the Whitney Forum.

The Flin Flon Bombers return to action tonight, when they host the visiting Estevan Bruins (Game Time: 7:30 PM).

Flin Flon (10-11-0-4) is looking to bounce back from their 6-3 loss against the La Ronge Ice Wolves on Tuesday night in a battle of hot teams.  The Bombers were winners of four straight before Tuesday with the Wolves winning six straight.

Right now the Bombers are six back of the Ice Wolves for third in the Sherwood Division, good for ninth overall in the SJHL.

Alex Smith (Edmonton, AB) is red hot in the month of November.  He has 14 points (7g, 7a) in 8 games so far this month including five in his last two games.  The team also picked up some secondary scoring with the acquisition of Jason Lavallee (Thetford-Mines, QC) who has 7 points (3g, 4a) in six games since being acquired from the Penticton Vees of the BCJHL.

The Bombers also picked up 1996 born Mitch Foyle (Fruitvale, BC) from the Melville Millionaires as the futures portion of the Brett Kitt deal.  Foyle has 12 points (6g, 6a) in 24 games with the Mills and should be in the lineup tonight.

Tonight they entertain the WCC host Bruins (13-9-0-1) who sit second in the Viterra Division, 10 points behind the Weyburn Red Wings.

The Bruins are fresh off an 8-6 win against the Humboldt Broncos on Tuesday and have won six of their last 10 games.  The last time these two teams met, their only meeting of the season, was October 30th when the Bombers beat them 5-2 in Estevan.

Flin Flon will host the Notre Dame Hounds tomorrow night before taking a few days off.
