Flin Flon acquires 1996 born Mitch Foyle (Fruitvale, BC) from Melville to complete Brett Kitt trade.

Head Coach and General Manager Mike Reagan is pleased to announce the acquisition of 1996 born forward Mitch Foyle (Fruitvale, BC) from the Melville Millionaires.  This completes the futures in the trade that saw Brett Kitt become a Millionaire earlier in the season.

Foyle has played Junior hockey since his 16 year old year when the 5’11, 180 pounder suited up for the Trail Smoke Eaters of the BCJHL, registering 13 points (7g, 6a) in 52 games.  In total with the Smoke Eaters he totaled 14 points (7g, 7a) in 61 games.

“We’re really happy to acquire Mitch,” said Reagan.  “We’re really happy to acquire a 19 year old with a lot of junior hockey experience.”

The last two seasons, Foyle has played with the Beaver Valley NiteHawks where he had 84 points (43g, 41) and 97 penalty minutes in 102 games.  This season with the Mills, Foyle has 12 points (6g, 6a) and 60 penalty minutes in 23 games.

Reagan hopes to have Foyle in the lineup tonight when the Bombers host the Estevan Bruins.
