The Bombers have traded hold out defenseman Joel Webb to the Penticton Vees of the BCHL for 1996 born forward Jason Lavallee.

Head Coach and General Manager Mike Reagan and the Flin Flon Bombers have announced that they have traded1995 born defenseman Joel Webb (Edmonton, AB) to the Penticton Vees of the BCHL in exchange for 1996 born forward Jason Lavallee (Thetford Mines, QC) and future considerations.

Lavallee was in his first season of junior hockey with the Vees were the 5’10, 175 pounder had six points (2g, 4a) in 13 games.  Lavallee was recruited by the Vees after playing the past two seasons in the Quebec College Hockey League with the Sorel-Tracy Rebelles.  Last year he finished with 50 points (28g, 22a) in 31 games helping the Rebelles to a QCHL championship last season.

Webb, who was later dealt to the Sherwood Park Crusaders of the AJHL by Penticton, had four points (1g, 3a) in 4 games with the Bombers this season.  Webb was acquired in the off season from the Kindersley Klippers in the Austin Calladine deal and has been sitting at home waiting for a trade since .
