Flin Flon acquire Adam Wilson from the Bonnyville Pontiacs.

The Flin Flon Bombers are just over two weeks away from the start of their Main Camp to kick of the 2015-16 SJHL season.  Head Coach and General Manager Mike Reagan and his staff were busy this off season making deals and be involved in the first annual SJHL Draft.

One of the deals the team has announced was the acquisition of 1996 born Adam Wison (Edmonton, AB) from the Bonnyville Pontiacs of the AJHL in exchange for future considerations.

Wison had seven points (3g, 4a) in 39 games in his rookie season with the Pontiacs.  The 6’3, 203 pounder also had 88 penalty minutes.

“He’s a big body that will play with some grit,” commented Reagan about Wilson.  “He’s a good skater that put up some decent numbers in AAA Midget.”

Wilson and the Bombers will hit the ice for the first time on Thursday September 3 when the team’s Main Camp opens up at the Whitney Forum.  The team will have their first exhibition game on September 5 against the Nipawin Hawks at home.
