1994 born Adam Beukeboom is named the Sasktel SJHL Goalie of the Week after returning from injury.

For the second time this season, 1994 born goalie Adam Beukeboom (Sundre, AB) has been named the Sasktel SJHL Goaltender of the Week for period ending February 22, 2015.  He was named the Goalie of the Week after his debut with the team back on December 22.

Beukeboom missed the better part of a month with an upper body injury, making his return last Tuesday night in relief of starter Simon Hofley against the Melfort Mustangs where he made 12 saves on 14 shots.

When the team hit the road for a pair of games on the weekend, Beukeboom made both starts and didn’t play with any rust, something an extended period of time off may take on some players.  On Friday night he made 34 saves on 36 shots as the Bombers doubled up on the Melville Millionaires 4-2.  He followed that up with a 38 save, 1-0 shutout of the Yorkton Terriers on Saturday night.

He finished the week with a 2-0 record to go along with a save percentage of 0.955 and a goals against average of 1.56.  On the season he is 9-4 with a goals against average of 2.35 and a save percentage of 0.930 to go along with 4 shutouts.
