We’re at game 53 for the Flin Flon Bombers, and with three more remaining in the rgular season, it looks like it will come down to next week’s showdown against the Nipawin Hawks before we see where they will start the playoffs.
With a pair of wins on the road this past weekend, the Bombers are keeping pace with the Hawks and Notre Dame Hounds for fourth, fifth and sixth in the SJHL. The Bombers are tied with the Hawks for fifth with 70 points, and are three back of the Hounds for fourth and home ice advantage.
The Bombers would stay in sixth spot if the playoff started today because the Hawks have more wins. All teams have played 53 games so far. Here’s how the three teams finish up their season.
