Trade Deadline over, Flin Flon looking to increase winning streak to six games.

The Flin Flon Bombers return to action tonight when they play hosts to Sherwood Division foes, La Ronge Ice Wolves.

Flin Flon (20-7-5-4) is coming off a 4-2 win over the Notre Dame Hounds on Saturday, the same day as the January 10th Trade Deadline when the club picked up some depth players.  Happy with his team and with the additions he’s made in the past week, Head Coach and General Manager Mike Reagan will now shift focus to a long run.

The first team in that way is the La Ronge Ice Wolves (14-20-2-3).  La Ronge comes into town struggling, losing three straight, and seven of their last 10 games.

Flin Flon on the other hand is now winners of five straight dating back to before Christmas when they snapped a six game losing streak with a pair of victories in North Battleford.

Flin Flon holds a 3-0-0-1 record against the Ice Wolves, losing their only game recently when La Ronge edged the Bombers 2-1 in a shootout at the Mel Hegland Arena on December 16th, when Flin Flon was in the midst of a six game losing streak.

This is the final game of a four game home stand; they travel to Kindersley Friday for a pair of games against the Klippers.
