The Bombers entertain the SJHL's top team tonight at the Whitney Forum.

The Flin Flon Bombers continue their current four game home stand, looking to win their fourth in a row tonight when they host the SJHL’s top team in the Melfort Mustangs (CJHL Rank: 8) (Game Time: 7:30 pm).

The Bombers (18-7-5-4) are fresh of a 2-1 victory on Sunday night when they hosted the Humboldt Broncos.  The first game back after the Christmas Break saw the return of 1994 born forward Brett Boehm (Martensville, SK) and the debut of 1997 born defenseman Curtis Roach (Saskatoon, SK).  Boehm assisted on the game winning goal, Chris Rauckman’s (Red Deer, AB) 23rd of the season.

The Mustangs (27-5-2-4) sit in first in the Sherwood Division and the SJHL with 60 points so far this season.  They have the league top point getter in Travis Mayan and one the top goalies in Richard Palmer.

On top of that they also have the Bombers number so far this season.

Flin Flon has a 1-3-1-1 record going into tonight’s matchup with the Bombers only win coming in a shootout back on November 12.

These two clubs will only meet one more time before the end of the regular season, on February 17 in Flin Flon.
