Bombers add 1994 born forward Brett Boehm and 1997 born defenseman Curtis Roach.

Not very often in hockey does one's career come full circle.  In the case of 1994 born Brett Boehm (Martensville, SK) it's been a different path but his junior hockey career will conclude by coming full circle with the announcement that he has joined the club for the remainder of the 2014-15 season.

"It's a big addition, huge," said Head Coach and General Manager Mike Reagan.

Boehm returns to the club that he started his junior hockey with where he won the SJHL's Rookie of the Year in 2012-13 season where he finished up with 54 points (25g, 29a) in 49 games.

The 2013-14 season saw lots of upside for the Bombers, but after a difference in direction the Bombers traded Boehm to the Yorkton Terriers after 21 games with Flin Flon.  In Yorkton Boehm racked up 43 points (21g, 22a) in 27 games to finish with 66 points on the season.  He also was instrumental in helping the Terriers win the Canalta Cup, Western Canada Cup and eventual the RBC Cup.

His rights were reverted back to the Bombers after the season but Boehm had already accepted a scholarship to the University of Minnesota Duluth were he played in five games with the Bulldogs, failing to register a point.

He decided to join the Bombers after coming home during the Christmas break.

"Last year was last year," said Boehm.  "I'm excited to re-join the Bombers and finish where I started.  I want to do my best to help this team be successful."

Along with Boehm, the Bombers were also able to add 1997 born defenseman Curtis Roach (Saskatoon, SK) from the Prince Albert Raiders of the WHL.

Roach played in seven games with the Raiders.  Roach is no stranger to the Bombers as his brother Josh played with the club during the 2012-13 SJHL season after being acquired from the Humboldt Broncos.

"Adding Brett and Curtis is like making acquisitions as the deadline without giving up any players," added Reagan.  "These are two big depth moves that will make an immediate impact."

Both Boehm and Roach will be in the lineup when the team hosts the Humboldt Broncos at the Whitney Forum this Sunday, game time has changed to 6:00 pm.
