1996 born forward Lance Yaremchuk gets re-assigned by the Prince George Cougars of the WHL.

The Flin Flon Bombers added some depth today when 1996 born forward Lance Yaremchuk (Prince Albert, SK) was re-assigned to the team by the Prince George Cougars of the WHL.

Yaremchuk suited up in three games with the Cougars this after being acquired by the team from the Prince Albert Raiders in the off season.  Last year he had 3 points (1g, 2a) in 15 games with the Raiders before being re-assigned to the Prince Albert Mintos of the SMAAAHL.

“We are excited to add a player like Lance,” said Head Coach and General Manager Mike Reagan.  “It’s no secret that we’re not having trouble scoring goals, but adding a dynamic player like him just increases our depth upfront.”

With the Minots, he helped guide the team to a Telus Cup Championship.  He 31 points (15g, 16a) in 20 games after being re-assigned and added another 21 points (13g, 8a) in 19 playoff games split between the SMAAAHL playoffs, the Telus Cup Western Regional playoffs and the Telus Cup.

In total Yaremchuk finished with 115 points (65g, 50a) in 107 games with the Mintos over three seasons.
