It was a strong debut for 1994 born forward Chris Rauckman.

The SJHL handed out their first installments of the Players of the Week, and it’s no surprise that 1994 born forward Chris Rauckman (Red Deer, AB) has picked up the Canalta Hotels SJHL Player of the Week.

Rauckman had a stellar opening week for his first in the maroon and white, where the forward picked up at least a point in all five games for the Bombers so far this season, including at least a goal in all contests.

It started on opening weekend against the Nipawin Hawks where he scored at the Whitney Forum in his Bombers’s debut on Friday night, then capped it off with a hat trick the next night.

In total Raukman has 11 points (7g, 4a) in five games, good enough to lead the league in goals and points.

Rauckman was acquired in the offseason from the Drumheller Dragons as part of the Devin Buffalo January 10th Trade Deadline deal.
