After shutting out the red hot North Stars last night, the club looks to their match up against rival La Ronge tonight.

With a big win against the red hot Battlefords North Stars behind them, the Flin Flon Bombers now shift their focus back to the Ice Wolves and another visit to La Ronge, their last trip this season.

“We have to now look to La Ronge,” said Head Coach and General Manager Mike Reagan.  “It’s a great feeling beating Battlefords, but we have to move forward.”

With three wins in a row the Flin Flon Bombers now find themselves on two points out of 10th place and the final playoff spot in the SJHL, and now only six back of first place in the Sherwood Division.  It puts a lot of importance on Flin Flon’s game against the Hawks at the Whitney Forum this Saturday.

“We can’t look that far ahead,” said Reagan.  “We can’t look that far ahead because if you do, you’ll forget about the games that you’re playing in right now.  We need these two points tonight.”

Flin Flon does have the emotional come from behind win against La Ronge behind them.  Trailing 3-1 in the third period on Saturday night, the Bombers rattled off three unanswered to take the game 4-3.

Overall Flin Flon now leads the season series 3-1 with one more game between these two teams after tonight’s action.  Flin Flon hosts the Ice Wolves in the second last game of the regular season, March 1st.
