The SJHL released their Players of the Week for last week, and for the first time this season a member of the Flin Flon Bombers has been named one.  1994 born forward Brett Boehm (Martensville, SK) has been named the SJHL’s Player of the Week.

Boehm had six points (1g, 5a) in four games this past week helping the team sweep the La Ronge Ice Wolves where he had a goal and two helpers last Tuesday at the Whitney and followed that up with another assist the next night in La Ronge.  Boehm then had two assists in a 3-2 loss on Friday against the Melville Millionaires.

On the season the second year forward has 20 points (9g, 11a) in 16 games.  Last season Boehm has named the SJHL’s Rookie of the Year after posting 54 points (25g, 29a) in 49 games.  He also recently played in the CJHL’s Prospect Games held in Nova Scotia.
