Buffalo was sharp making 39 saves, but Flin Flon was still defeated by the visiting Bruins 2-0.

For the second time in just over a week the Flin Flon Bombers and Estevan Bruins met up, this time at the Whitney Forum, but it was with a different outcome.

The last meeting had the Bombers skate away from Estevan with a 3-1 win, this time it was a power play goal six minutes into the third period by the Bruins Lynden Patachak and a shorthanded empty netter by Tanner Froese, that had the Bruins skate away with a 2-0 win.

Goaltender Devin Buffalo was solid in the Bombers net, turning aside 39 shots, 15 of them in the third period alone.

Flin Flon had some chances, including a power play with less then two mintues to go in the game, when Estevan's Austin Roesslein was called for a hooking minor.

Next up is the Notre Dame Hounds, tomorrow night at the Forum.  The Bombers will be looking to avenge a 4-2 loss the last time they met, last Saturday night in Wilcox.

ICE CHIPS:  The Bombers went 0 for 4 on the man advantage to the Bruins 1 for 5.  ---  Three different Bombers made their debut tonight.  Forwards Austin Calladine, Dean Allison and defenseman Connar Bass all suited up for their first games with the Maroon and White.  Calladine was recently released by the Saskatoon Blades of the WHL while Flin Flon acquired Allison from Alberni Valley of the BCHL with Bass coming from the Calgary Mustangs of the AJHL.  ---  Flin Flon held a moment of silence before the opening puck drop to honor the passing of former goaltender Ray Martynuik.  Martyniuk played for his hometown Bombers from 1967 to 1970 and was a fifth overall draft pick of the Montreal Canadiens in the 1970 NHL Draft.
