Bombers look to make it three in a row.

Flin Flon returns to the ice tonight in the midst of a four game in five night road trip of Southern Saskatchewan, this time in the Spectra Place home of the Estevan Bruins.

Estevan holds down second place in the Viterra Division, four points back of the first place Yorkton Terriers and Melville Millionaires.   The team is lead by 20 year old forwards Tanner Froese (5g, 6a) and Austin Daae (3g, 5a) and 18 year old Darcy DeRoose (7g, 2a) who’s averaging a goal a game so far in the young season.

The Bombers, who only scored 10 goals in their first five games, have 11 goals in their past two.  That can be attributed to forwards Cam Blair, Dillan McCombie and Brett Boehm.  The trio was going to be looked upon to carry a bulk of the scoring, and have a combined seven goals in the past two games.

The team did get a spark in secondary scoring with Landon Hiebert, Erik Pedersen and Cole McCaig all scoring their firsts of the season last night against the Mills.

After tonight’s game, Flin Flon has Thursday off before finishing up the road swing in Weyburn on Friday and Notre Dame on Saturday.  Tonight’s game can be heard on CFAR 590.
